Rene Marie Russo, an American actress and filmmaker who was previously a supermodel, is a film director. In addition to her graceful appearance, her steady success in the film industry proves her skills as a performer. Her professional career started with a modeling job in 1970, then she rose quickly to prominence. After completing her acting studies Russo started her modeling career at the age of Los Angeles. Russo was first seen on screen on ABCs drama series Sable in 1987, playing the character Eden Kendell. She played Tom Berengers' love interest the following year on Major League, her debut movie. Some critics who were initially skeptical of her performance skills, were eventually won over after seeing her consistent performance. In Wolfgang Petersens Outbreak she was especially praised by the critics for how well she held up to Dustin Hoffman, Morgan Freeman and others. But, as per her own words she was never passionate about the acting. In 2005, she decided to go on a lengthy, self-imposed pause. In the film Thor it was her return to her acting. Her husband's Oscar-winning movie Nightcrawler was one of her roles. The Intern, and Just Getting Started were lighthearted comedies in which she starred.

Rose Namajunas was one of UFC's most popular female athletes. Her career began in amateur fighting, competing in various regional promotions prior to signing with Invicta Fighting Championships and later signing up with the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). The fighter has gained plenty of fame following her joining of the UFC due to both her on and off the octagon's success. Namajunas was born on the 29th of June 1993 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to a Lithuanian immigrant family. Rose played sports like basketball as well as kickboxing while she was growing up. Invicta Fighting Championships provided her with an opportunity to fight professionally at the age of 18, when she defeated two competitors. Dana White, who was watching her closely at that time, signed her into the UFC strawweight division to fight in the month of December in 2014. Rose was just turning 22. Rose has been through highs & lows during her professional career. But she has always come out the winner. Rose took on Carla Esparza in April 2015 for the Women's Strawweight Championship. Rose won the bout by technical knockout within 3 minutes in the initial round. It was the first ever time a woman competed in a title fight with any of the major promotions in the world. Namajunas was victorious in several bouts after this fight and was named Performance Of The Night by UFC in her fights against Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
